Director of Music - Email Jim Seidel I'm the Director of Music, Jim Seidel. I was born in St. Louis, Missouri. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and Masters degree from Ohio University. I taught music in Illinois public schools for 27 years prior to our move to Traverse City in 1991. I am a member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), the Presbyterian Association of Musicians (PAM), The American Guild of English Handbell Ringers (AGEHR) and the National Association For Music Education (MENC). My ministry includes coordinating music for our worship services as well as directing the Sanctuary Choir, the three bell choirs, the Youth Choir and the Carol Choir. This ministry strives to bring its presenters and its listeners into a closer relationship to God and Jesus Christ.
