READ: Matthew 1:18 thru ch. 2:18. Luke 2:1-20 and ch. 2:41-51.

WRITE: Imagining you are a news reporter living in Jerusalem at the time of Jesus’ birth, write ideas for a news story as it might have been broadcast by a news team if television and radio had been in existence at the time of Jesus’ birth. Keep in mind that news media claims to report the facts and is very suspicious of religious or super natural things. For example, the news would never report that angels where seen talking to shepherds. What do you think they would actually report?

PLAN: To create and enact a news show during class with other students that would cover the news of the day that Jesus was born: ie. with field reporters, news anchors, guest speakers, etc.
