Youth Ministries Assistant- Email Deb Hawkins I am Deb Hawkins, the Youth Ministries Assistant, and I feel blessed to be part of the team serving our Middle School, Sr. High, and College-age youth. I first became involved in youth ministry in 1996 as an Elder and remained an active volunteer for several years. When I was given an opportunity to join the staff part-time, I felt God had led me full cirle to a vocation I am passionate about: sharing God's love and grace with young people at a challenging time in their lives and encouraging other adults to mentor and witness to our teenagers. I received a B.A. from Albion College, with a double major in English/Sociology, and I continue to also work as a freelance writer, which I've done for nearly 20 years. My husband, Mark, and I raised three sons together - Jamie, Andrew, and Sam - and now that we're empty-nested, I enjoy exploring new interests, as well as old favorites like reading, remodeling, hiking, biking, and beaching.
