Our ministries develop out of our vision statement and can be categorized into three areas: KNOWING AND GROWING WITH CHRIST It is our goal that we can be a place where people connect with Christ and one another. PASTORAL CARE OUR ENTIRE STAFF IS AVAILABLE FOR PASTORAL CARE AND SUPPORT. You may contact them directly or call the church office. CLERGY AND TRAINED LAYPERSONS VISIT PATIENTS AT MUNSON MEDICAL CENTER EACH DAY. Call the church office to let us know if you or a loved one is hospitalized, so we can provide pastoral visitation and care. PRAYER MANY OF OUR MEMBERS AND
STAFF PRAY EVERY DAY FOR THE CONCERNS OF THE CONGREGATION. If you
would like to have a special concern remembered in prayer, contact the
church office. OUR PRAYER ROOM, LOCATED
JUST OFF THE SANCTUARY IS AVAILABLE BEFORE OR AFTER SUNDAY SERVICES OR
DURING THE WEEK FOR A QUIET PLACE TO PRAY. Feel free to stop by the
office and ask one of the staff to pray with you, if you'd like. DEACON MINISTRIES STEPHEN MINISTRY. Laypersons
who have completed intensive training in caring ministry offer support
and encouragement to persons experiencing a wide range of life needs or
crises. HOSPITAL MINISTRY. Trained
laypersons visit the sick at Munson Medical Center. SECRET SAINTS (Post-High School Ministry) TLC MINISTRY. (Meals and other nurturing care in crisis) TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY.
Providing rides to worship services for those without other transportation.

One of our goals is to share the love of Christ with others. Some of the ways we do this are:
A ministry of our congregation to the children and families of the Traverse City WIC and HeadStart programs.
Our congregation has committed itself to helping build one Habitat house a year. So far, we have completed five homes, three of which were built in partnership with other churches.
Each year, our congregation participates in the local Crop Walk, a mission of Church World Service. The monies raised are used for world relief projects.
We regularly participate in serving meals in this ecumenical project.
