In March, 4 members of our congregation, together with 9 members of 4 other churches, traveled to Acres of Love Children's Home in Belize, Central America. We went on faith, not knowing what the government would allow us to do, but with a desire to show the love of Christ, and a willingness to be flexible. You financial support and funds raised at the swiss steak dinner provided plumbing supplies, building materials, vitamins, medicines, and a donation to the operating costs of Acres of love, all of which was very much appreciated.
During the trip, we were each called out of our comfort zones, and God provided in every situation. By God's grace, we were able to hold 2 medical clinics and a dental clinic, complete the bathhouse, paint roofs and a bathroom, repair the well pump, share in worship, and lend support to Acres of Love. We were truly blessed to be a part of this mission. Thank you all for your prayers and your support. Hope you enjoy this picture summary of our trip.
