Associate Pastor for Congregational Care - Email Becky Chamberlain

I have been Associate Pastor for Congregational Care since August of 2000. Full-time ministry is my third career, following parenting and a career in development and university relations at Bradley University. I graduated from Bradley with a B.A. in English and received my M.Div. from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. During my senior year of seminary and for a year after graduation I was on staff at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago. I was ordained in July 2000 following a call to serve this church.

My highest joy is to respond to the amazing grace of God in my life and to accompany and encourage others on their sacred journeys. I am thankful for a wide variety of ministry opportunities, including pastoral care and visitation, worship leadership and preaching, teaching, and working closely with the many committees of the Deacon Board and with the Evangelism Committee of the Session.

I have three married children and have been blessed with three grandsons in the past few years. I cherish time for solitude as well as time with family and friends. I love to read, go to movies, plays and concerts, and travel. And I look forward to exploring and enjoying more of this beautiful part of the country!
