Mission Work
Love for Children: These volunteers work with the local WIC
and Headstart children and families. Classroom assistance,
special Saturday programs at the church and family relational
events are some of the activities. Love

Internationally
The Presbyterian Church of Traverse City supports three missionaries and
a Presbyterian School in Korea. Nationally we support the Buckhorn Children's
Center and the Intermountian Home. Locally, Goodwill Inn , the Northern
Michigan College Chaplain and the Women's Resource Center are but a few
organizations we help to support.
Construction
Ministries: Our goal is to fund and build one
Habitat for Humanity house each year. Our construction volunteers also help
in other building projects, such as the Presbyterian Church building in
Bellaire.
In
March, 4 members of our congregation, together with 9 members of 4 other
churches, traveled to Acres of Love Children's Home in Belize, Central America.
We went on faith, not knowing what the government would allow us to do,
but with a desire to show the love of Christ, and a willingness to be flexible.
